Air quality is measured by automatic monitoring stations installed by residents of the region, public organizations and local authorities. State institutions also carry out regular manual measurements.

Monitoring is carried out by official institutions (UkrHMC, Ministry of Health, State Emergency Service), commercial enterprises (EKOTEST, DTEK), as well as the independent public organization SaveDnipro with the support of Safecast, Blues Inc., and Greenpeace.
